Like most toys they are often just part of a craze that will quickly wane and after a few weeks or months they will be forgotten about. I like to buy more practical gifts like bikes that can be used over and over. I’m not a fan of Zhu Zhu as you can tell, but that’s mainly because I hate toy companies telling me that this is the last must have toy

I actually have two of them i am taking back to the store since my youngest niece did not want them for Christmas.

I’m way good on the latest toys as presents, LOL!! I was a kid during the Cabbage Patch Kid craze, and parents ended up in the hospital trying to get a hold of them! Lol! Hope you get as many as you want. Merry Christmas!! Great blog. God bless.

@ celticbuffy- Yeah that $100 deal is too rich for our blood, but people can spend their money as they see fit. As long as they don’t ask me to chip in that is.

@ Rete – Thanks for the heads up. From what I heard, my daughter won’t be disappointed. In fact I think she’ll have too many of these things.

@Car insurance Phi – Letterman had these on the night he was showing off toys. They don’t seem like anything special, but I’m not a 5 year old so it doesn’t matter what I think.

I heard some sort of press release from Wal-Mart that they were going to get shipments of these to all their stores some time this week. Hope you have some luck!

Having been “enlisted” you know that I’ve had no luck finding them in stores. Isn’t it crazy how anyone, even small children, can get sucked into the “gotta have it” mind set? Unfortunately I don’t think like the step-sister because I just don’t see $100 being a “deal”. Of course I don’t spend thousands at the holidays like a few family members we know.

Here’s hoping that the biggest little Debt Destroyer has a merry christmas and that Grandma’s elves got lucky somewhere finding those dang Zhu-Zhu’s!
