Although it's good that Keen replaced the laces for free, I think that I'd be pretty angry that it took a month for them to do it and with no acknowledgement that they ever would do it. The laces never should have broke that soon in the first place and it shouldn't cost much to ship out a new pair, so I'm a little disappointed that Keen didn't service you better, myself. I got a new pair of shoes and a week later the shoe laces broke. I called the company looking for some new laces. They told me to send the shoes back and gave me a new pair. These were regular shoes..no strange lacing pattern. I don't think LL Bean's quality is really much better than regular dept. stores. LL Bean's real product is customer service.
