Love Pearl Jam Unplugged. That said, Matt Cameron is pretty much my favorite drummer of all time (original drumming in W.M.A. notwithstanding).

Sounds like that was a killer show.

I’ve seen them 12 times(1st was Lollapalooza 92, 12th was them opening for Tom Petty) and the intensity never lets up. Ed is not jumping in to the crowd anymore, but they still bring it every show!

Over the years I’ve seen many concerts, and Pearl Jam blows them all out of the water!

On the spending front I agree it’s OK to spend money on things that will bring you joy. But like you said, make sure you can afford them. And if you see them coming, try to save up for the purchase ahead of time.

Like I’ll be doing next summer with Pearl Jam concert tickets

Awesome! I love how intense he is in concert. I saw them many moons ago when they just started getting big as an opening act and Vedder swam the crowd about halfway out. I was locked in as a fan from that point on and I didn’t even have the album yet that’s how good they were. They were so much better than a more established band called Smashing Pumpkins who were on the same bill.

To get back to spending, I think it’s ok to spend on a big item if it will really bring joy to your life (not just a big gadget you want at the moment). Of course you still have to be able to afford it.

Pearl Jam Unplugged is awesome! I love when he climbs on the chair and starts filling in the lines written in on his arm (though I forget what it said).

I used to have this on a VHS tape when I recorded it. I actually had Mariah Carey Unplugged on there too (for my sister).
