@celticbuffy – You started on a lot of journeys at this same time. So don’t get too down about not getting very far in this one. But at the same time, there’s no time like the present to do something about it

@Amber Jones – Good to hear that your husband has a job offer, that’s saying something in todays economy. Hopefully it’s a job that he really wants.

@Fabulously Broke – Actually what I use it more like a “Freeze-ray” than a laser. But then Dr. Horrible stole my idea so now I just watch Arrested Development.

@ Surviving a Recession – Thanks. Hopefully we are on a way. My goal is to have less debt when I get out of school than I had when I started.

Sounds good – I can’t wait to start making a dent in our debt. I mean, we are working on it, but it’s not showing up much right now. Hopefully that will change if my husband takes a recent job offer that will double his bring home pay each week. Time will tell – I just need to be patient and keep doing what we are doing…. right?

Congrats! We started this journey about the same time and you are so much further than I am! I’m still playing ostrich, allowing my fear to control me instead of controlling my fear (and my money!). Of course, being unemployed and without a paycheck for a while dug deeply into the money I had on hand. Kudos to you DD and Mr.s DD, keep on working your plan!
