I just love this satirical monologue that accurately describes a lot of my sentiments about United States government’s plan to save ourselves from our current economic issues that are caused largely by out of control consumer, business, and government spending just by spending more money. That doesn’t work for those of us with consumer debt, does it?

I like the bit about giving everyone in America a shovel. Pay half the people to dig holes and the other half can fill them in.

that video was both hillarious and terrifying.
too bad mr. thompson couldn’t deliver that well without the script back when he was a contender for President….

Funny stuff except for the fact if somebody watch this in 50 years they would not be able to figure out it was was satire, because this is exactly what is happening.
And to answer your question this works great for people already in debt. I think credit card companies are also looking for the government to pay the balances of people in serious credit card debt, so you want to make sure that you qualify for this program.
