I know this is the opposite of many PF bloggers who have many accounts to maximize bonuses, benefits or get interest free money. We recently started reducing our number of financial accounts for the same reason - simplifying our lives. There's less mail, fewer tax statements, and less ATM/Debit cards to track and keep.
