As is always worth noting, the difference in what you earn will be all of a 3 dollars per year per thousand dollars you have in the account. Don’t sweat it. It’s going to average 3 or 4 percent in the long run, anyway.
@Ray – I agree, that is why I am sticking with ING and not chasing rates anywhere. It just isn’t worth the time and hassle for the little bit of money it will save. Plus I really enjoy banking with ING.
I will say that the rate on the checking account was 4% when I joined, so I am getting half of the interest that I had expected.
