@Matt – Big step Matt. Being intentional about your money and purchases is definitely bold! You won’t regret it!

@Steven – Wow, very bold. Makes a big difference, doesn’t it? I would actually consider something like that when we move. My wife and I hate clutter and constantly purge our place.

@Move to Portugal – Making the decision is very bold. Moving will just be an outflow of the daily bold decisions that will get your there! Awesome. I love to see people seriously chasing their dreams.

After I became debt free in 2005, I decided to give everything – and I mean everything – to two charity based thrift shops. And my books to the public library to sell at their annual book sale.

I now live a clutter free, stress free, debt free life.
And I’m loving it!

For me the biggest step was stopping the unnecessary spending. I now question pretty much every purchase (even at the grocery store). I’ve learned that spending money doesn’t accomplish anything if you’re in debt. It comes down to being able to live below your means rather than above them.
